She has vivid dreams of running. Sometimes through cities with imposing buildings. Sometimes she's being chased. But the running remains the same. Always running.
Since she's had these dreams as long as she can remember, I said it's pretty clear she's running from something. That the dreams are so vivid, so consistent in theme--it's her brain trying to get her attention. Her mind is not only reviewing what has been, but is rehearsing for what is to come.
It must be exhausting.
I suggested she try and turn around. To pause. To stop running....both in her dreams & in the waking life that's fueling what her dreams are made of.
