Fossicking has got to be the best new word I've just now heard of.
Means rummaging, prospecting.
Australian in origin. (Though apparently the Cornwellians would like to claim it too -- I can see why).
I musn't forget it.

When I draw, i's a conversation with the paper. I listen to the ether about lines & curves; about the unification of the unrelated & opposites.
Lumerian Pages - "colouring without the lines" - emerged since I'm thrilled people have discovered colouring's pleasure & embraced it as a creative & meditative activity. As far as process goes, colouring is the most freeing & emotive aspect of a work; it's how the picture's disparate aspects are fused & kiln fired. Thus, you'll see that Lumerian Pages are watermark whisperings rather than solid-line shoutings, so your own dreams and feelings and intuitions can be heard more clearly as you colour. You start where an artist starts - staring at something more like a just-finished sketch, which means aspects of your imagination and expression can come into deeper play.
A friend suggested "Lumerian Pages" as a moniker for this project to reference the fact that something wise is out there & speaking to us, desiring to teach us - & I loved that - since I think that's exactly what the great artists are always listening for. Maybe in colouring these pages, you'll begin to hear the ether too.
Enjoy x
